Carolyn and Rusty will be all over Boston between Wednesday, October the 28th and Saturday, October 31st. We are excited to show our friends and family some cool places to have espresso martinis, taste some authentic Italian, while being entertained by the history and quaint urban spots.
On Wednesday, October 28th we will host a happy hour at the Bleacher Bar located at Fenway Park from 3-5PM. We will then shuffle across the street to Loretta’s Last Call for food and fun at another Fenway original venue from 5-9PM.

On Wednesday, October 28th, we will continue the party at Loretta’s Last call. Grab your boots and get to steppin’ to Loretta’s Last Call, Boston’s ORIGINAL country venue, offering authentic southern cuisine and country music.
We are looking at spending October 29th in Salem. There are a few things to do and it is one of Rusty’s favorite towns. Old bookstores, cobble streets, moments in history, cold beer and a few decent places for a burger or slice. The Village Tavern will be home base. Unfortunately, there are no reservations available the week of Halloween so I may just have to get there when the bar opens and hold the pool tables!
You can take a ferry from Boston Harbor to Salem and back for like $50. Another fun travel experience is to take the train from the Garden. Do both! I like to take the ferry over and commuter train back. You can always take an Uber. We’ll post more on travel from Boston to Salem.
The Salem Ferry Ride from Boston’s Long Wharf to Salem is between 50 to 60 minutes. You’ll be able to sightsee, museum hop, sampling the specialties of local chefs, and shopping in Salem’s many quaint boutiques and quirky shops upon arriving in Salem!
Nearly half a million people make the trek to Salem to celebrate Halloween each October. Haunted Happenings, a highlight of these spooky celebrations, features a parade, a street fair, film nights, ghost tours, costume balls, haunted houses, and live music.
